History of UFO’s in Connecticut: Past and Present. Often members of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Connecticut Chapter are asked to talk about UFO sightings in Connecticut. Therefore, our presentation will look at some of the current and historical UFO sightings in the State of Connecticut, as well as, in the surrounding area. People are often amazed to hear that Connecticut has a rich history of unknown UFO sightings and events. We will look at some of these cases and explain why they are unknown and what makes them excellent examples of potential non-humanoid, not of this world, crafts. In addition, we will have an open forum for people to discuss any UFO sightings they would like us to document for the historical record.
Underwater UFOs (USOs). USOs or underwater submersible objects are a little known field within ufology. But, their presence within the field is well established. Sightings of objects moving at incredible speeds under the water only to emerge from the ocean deeps and take off into the atmosphere have been documented for hundreds of years. Ever hear of the Bermuda Triangle, or the Devil’s Triangle? These spots are full of stories of unknown craft below and above the water. In this lecture we will exam the evidence for USOs, we will look at hotspots thought out the world and try an answer the question: what are these USOs?
Cryptozoology. The study of folkloric creatures, is considered by academics as pseudoscience because of the odd research and sources used in the study of this field. But, should it? Do creatures such as Big Foot or The Jersey Devil really exist? Do the thousands of witnesses who describe seeing these unique creatures all succumb to mass delusion? During this lecture we will examine the evidence for possible existence of these creatures in nature either at the present time or in the past. Looking at physical evidence and documented evidence, particular focus will be shown to crypto-creatures alleged to be found in Connecticut and surrounding New England, we will examine the evidence and try to answer the question: do these creatures really exist?
General Understanding Of UFOlogy. Have you ever wanted to know more about UFOs and the field of UFOlogy? Highlighting the major fields of research in UFOlogy (Ancient Aliens, UFO sightings and crashes, cover-ups/disclosure, abductions, types of aliens, and crop circles) this presentation is designed to give an audience a general understanding of the field. In addition, we will have an open forum for people to discuss any UFO sightings they would like us to document for the historical record.
UFO Hunter Workshop: How To Investigate UFO Sightings. Interested in the methodology used for UFO investigations? This presentation is designed to introduce the audience into how UFO investigators investigate sightings submitted to MUFON Connecticut. This lecture is not designed to turn people into their own UFO investigators and should be taken as such. Rather, this this lecture is designed to answer the question how does a trained UFO investigator conduct an investigation. Also, discussed in this lecture is the formal process to become a certified field investigator with MUFON if someone decides they would like to conduct their own investigations. In addition, we will have an open forum for people to discuss any UFO sightings they would like us to document for the historical record.
